Government payments are generally received before 9:00pm Eastern Standard Time / 6:00pm Pacific Standard Time. Please remember that we always post direct deposits as soon as we receive them as long as your account is active and in good standing. Green Dot often receives direct deposits from the Social Security Administration before the scheduled payment date shown on the Social Security SSI calendar for 2020, provided by the US Treasury. As soon as Green Dot receives these deposits, we post the SSI payment onto your prepaid card, to get your money to you as soon as possible. Green Dot has no control over when we receive direct deposits from the government or any other payment providers.
