Couponing is often easier said than done. The internet is jam-packed with promising offers that can turn out to be anything but legit. Check out these seven spots to find coupons and deals below—you might be surprised how much you can save.
Coupons.com
The name says it all. This website provides a lengthy list of coupons for all different items, from sandwich bags to household cleaners, groceries and more! After creating a free account using your mobile phone number, simply browse the list of coupons, click on the offers you’d like to “clip,” print them and slide them into your wallet for the next time you’re out shopping.
The Krazy Coupon Lady
Not only do these helpful ladies provide a list of coupons broken down by category, brand and style, they also offer a trove of couponing tips, hacks and recommended sites. Search categories like pets, detergent, back-to-school, Black Friday and more.
Checkout51
This app boasts a list of money-back offers on a variety of groceries and household items. It’s a little different from traditional couponing because you won’t see the savings at the register. Instead, you’ll get a check! After you sign up with Facebook or your email address, you can browse the weekly offers. When you purchase items listed in the weekly offers (be sure to read the fine print), you take a photo of your receipt and upload it to the app. Once you reach $20 in savings, Checkout51 will mail you a check!
Store Apps
Check to see if your favorite store has an app. Many offer additional discounts on goods that might already be on your shopping list. Walmart, Target, CVS and 7-Eleven are a few of our favorites.
Mailing Lists
Take advantage of email mailing lists. Some shops and sites offer discount codes or coupons to first-time subscribers. Some will even send you birthday deals.
The Sunday Paper
An oldie, but a goodie. It’s not just about the comics—sift through the Sunday paper for inserts full of coupons.
Groupon
This site offers deals you can purchase in order to save money on different experiences like restaurants, adventures around town and gym memberships. This can save you big bucks in the long run. Just be sure to read the fine print and find out when you have to use the deal by.
You’ll be amazed how much you can save with couponing apps and websites! Now it’s your turn: Where do you find great coupons?
